The minifigures involve Dastan (the hero from the film) as well as the characters Hassansin, Nizam (the principle villain), Seso, Claw Hassansin, and two Guards. The figures all possess a large degree of detail to their torsos (double sided) and extremely expressive faces. They include swords, scimitars and lances (Dastan comes with a very cool backpack that holds two prolonged swords) and some also element double sided heads.
The set comes with two thick instruction books and many of the put together is understandably the palace fortress. As the film is set in 6th century Persia (now known as Iran) the set includes a distinctive search about it and you will discover a lot of areas of playability. Additionally Dastan is apparently a master of parkour, the wall climbing acrobatic art and you will discover a large number of pegs on the outside within the walls so the minifigure can scale the walls with vigour.
The fortress comes in two separate sections: the primary setting up and also the wall. They will be place with each other to form a large walled castle or the walls could be separated out to generate a long front wall using the castle sitting behind. It's an ingenious style that adds playability and area for original creations or other Prince Of Persia sets.
