Production Underway on ANIMALS
Melbourne, VIC - January 31st, 2012 - Principal photography has begun relating to the Film’D Media and Drake Ex Pictures’ “Animals”, the epic adaptation of Edward Drake’s hit Movie Extra WebFest entry, Where Had you been.

In helming “Animals”, Edward Drake is using an unique blend of Canon 5D MkII and Sony PMW-F3 cameras to achieve the post-war world of the film using a feeling of realism and immediacy not found using film stock. This marks to begin with a leading Australian feature film happens to be shot by using unique digital approach.
The screenplay for “Animals” is written by Edward Drake and Joel Mitchell using the series “Where Were You” by Drake. The film has been that is caused by Drake, Mitchell and Hannah Brown.

The locations for “Animals” are actually deliberately confined to Victoria for taking selling point of local landmarks. Locations include state Parliament also, the suburbs Newport, Altona, Kew, Richmond and South Yarra. Shooting can even be held at Tullamarine Airport, Southern Cross station along with the Truganina Explosives Reserve.
